Practicing Church Discipline

Matthew 18:15-20 • Galatians 6:1

 

We believe God desires for His church to be Holy, set apart from the world. Scriptures give instruction for correcting a Christian who sins against another believer. 1 - The sin is to be discussed privately between the involved parties, and the truth shared. 2 - If there is an unwillingness to repent and change, then two or three witnesses are to go to the individual, and share truth. 3 - If the person will not repent, the matter is brought before the church. 4 -After this, if the person remains unrepentant, then the member's name is removed from the membership.
