Tim Hawkins

Tim Hawkins has been serving as our interim pastor since April 2009. He and his wife Shannon have four children.

Tim and his family have been a blessing to New Life and we thank the Lord for sending them to us. Tim has provided enthusiasm, vision, and guidance to our body as we seek a permanent senior pastor to shepherd and lead our congregation.

The position of Senior Pastor at New Life Baptist Church is currently open.

New Life Baptist Church is seeking a qualified pastor sent by God, called to serve the body at New Life and provide guidance and vision to help NLBC continue to reach the lost, minister to our brothers and sisters and most of all love one another.

Roger Harless

Roger has been a member New Life for many years, and discovered his gift and passion for music and worship. He has been worship minister since 2007. He leads a rockin’ praise band, a full worship choir, and a vocal praise team. Roger has been married to Norma for seventeen years, and they have two sons, Timothy and Devin.

Tammy Brown

Tammy Brown has served as care minister since 2001. She assists with visitation and care ministry, as well as overseeing the adult Sunday School program and assisting in many other matters. She has been patiently married to Alvin for 28 years, and has a daughter, Heather, and a son, Zach.

Doug & Sandra Phillips

Doug and Sandra have served as children's ministers since 2008.  They oversee children's Sunday School, Sunday night activities, children's church.  Doug and Sandra have been married for 27 years, have two children and one grandchild.

Rebecca Smith

Becca has been preschool minister at New Life since February 2009.  She oversees preschool discipleship programs.  Becca has been married to Stuart since 1999, and they have two children, Nicholas who is five and Katie who is 2.

Jeremy & Allie Story

Jeremy and Allie Story have served the youth of New Life since 2007. They have been married for almost two years, and are enjoying the child-free, newlywed life... for now. :)

Shannon Smith

Shannon has served as office manager at New Life since 2001. She efficiently oversees the daily operations of the church office, and is available to assist you with any needs you may have. She has been married to Shawn for eleven years, and has two lovely daughters, Anniston and Peyton.
